Shamiel Jassiem teaches the Saturday Paralegal Classes. Shamiel was admitted as an attorney in 2003.

Shamiel is a lecturer the University of Western Cape and professional assistant in the UWC Legal Aid Clinic.

Shamiel graduated from the University of the Western Cape with an LLB degree and completed the Practical Legal Training programme at the University of Cape Town.
